Description

The Kaysons Green Tea Panner/Roaster is a continuous rotary drum machine used for pan-firing (panning) fresh green tea leaf. The rotating drum heated by a diesel or gas burner rapidly destroys enzymes in the freshly plucked leaf, fixing the green colour and arresting oxidation — the critical first step in green tea manufacture.

Available in diesel and gas-fired versions, the machine integrates a Japanese imported burner for precise temperature control, while a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) allows independent adjustment of drum rotation speed for different leaf grades and throughput requirements.
